My Story

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass; it's about learning to dance in the rain."

Life presents a whole variety of challenges that we face. My goal is to help people navigate those life transitions and challenges to find contentment.

I have experience working in a variety of therapeutic settings with mental health and addiction issues. Using a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused mindfulness/Brainspotting, and mindfulness based cognitive therapy, I believe that everyone can increase their awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and tap into the gratitude and strengths in their life in order to make the changes they are seeking.  Brainspotting allows us to process the deeper hurts, traumas, and "stuck points" in a way that often still amazes me after years of experience.

I also am trained as a grief support specialist. Grief and loss come in many forms, not just the loss of a loved one, and I work to help people process the losses in their life so that they can move towards healing.

Choosing a therapist is in some ways a leap of faith. We can work together to explore and discover the life that you want to lead.
